Self-defence is everything that makes our lives safer
The right words to shut up a macho, standing up to a family member or professional caregiver, tricks and tips to avoid assaults, getting away or getting help, practicing solidarity with other women… On this page, we collect all ideas and experiences that can inspire other women with disabilities to resist violence and discrimination. Women with disabilities may be confronted with all kinds of disrespect and violence, but they are not helpless !
If you want to share your experiences with resisting violence and discrimination, please send us a mail or video with your story. We will post all success stories either under your first name or a pseudonym you choose.
